Why We Exist

Four years ago, we recognized a clear need for greater equity in STEM. Despite earning nearly half of all STEM degrees, women hold less than 25% of STEM jobs. At the same time, over 70% of STEM employers report that their biggest challenge isn’t finding talent — it’s keeping it. This gap leaves countless talented professionals without access to roles that reflect their skills, while organizations continue to search for effective ways to improve retention and build resilient, future-ready teams.

AdaMarie was created to close that gap. Inspired by the real stories of individuals navigating systemic barriers and by organizations eager to support and develop underrepresented talent, we set out to build a platform where opportunity and access go hand in hand.
